Discription:
Stone and metallic hand-crafted original design include a large image of the VFW logo. Wording reads, “VFW Riders, Design & built by Richard Brady (Trickie Dickie) 2016.” Names of supporters and deceased veterans are individually attached, and new names are added as appropriate throughout the year. Names are located under their military service logos, Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, Air Force.
Also displayed at the front of the property but several yards away from the Riders memorial is a stationary, non-working artillery weapon.

Located on VFW property, the post includes a Food Bank and Clothes Closet open Wednesday and Friday 10 a.m. – 12 noon. A long-time part of the community, the post provides a relaxing environment for veterans to talk about their experiences, share meals and enjoy a sense of fellowship. Groups meet there for a variety of outings and events. The VFW sponsors Army ROTC, Boy Scouts, Voice of Democracy, Patriot’s Pen (Youth Essay Writing Contest), and Teacher/EMT/Police Officer & Firefighter of the Year Awards.
