The engraving reads, “Third Infantry Div U.S. Army Outpost 77 Las Vegas Nevada dedicates this memorial honoring those who served in the 3rd Inf Div Dedicated Nov. 11, 1993.” The metal plaque includes the name of the division and lists campaigns the division fought in.

Memorial dedicated Nov. 11, 1993. The 3rd Infantry Division (nicknamed The Rock of the Marne) is a combined arm and mechanized infantry division of the United States Army based at Fort Stewart, Georgia. It is a direct subordinate unit of the XVIII Airborne Corps and U.S. Army Forces Command. Research has not located any history of 1993’s Outpost 77.
