History:
The Share property is described as the future of emergency, transitional and permanent housing for United States veterans. Housing units are made from standardized, recycled ISO shipping containers (from the Greek “isos” meaning equal, isometric form, more commonly known as Conex containers). They can be rapidly built and transported anywhere in the country via railroad “piggy-back” railroads, semi or jumbo air cargo transports for immediate occupancy. Share Village is largely concerned with such type housing for veterans and their families. The original name of the property was Veterans Village.
