Discription:

Large and bold in stature, the background color is reddish-purple. Black engraving on a white background is separated into four distinct sections. Section One at the top reads, “Dedicated to all men and women wounded in all our wars.” Clockwise, Section Two reads, “My stone is red for the blood they shed. The medal I bear is my country’s way to show they care, If I could be seen by all mankind maybe peace will come in my lifetime.” Section Three contains a large color depiction of a Purple Heart medal with the words, “Military Order of the Purple Heart 1782 1932 Combat Wounded Veterans.” Section Four reads, “Erected by Dept. of Nevada Military Order of the Purple Heart.”
