A large, flat-faced reddish boulder, seven feet tall and 14 feet wide. Circular metallic plaques on the face are copies of American military logos.

Hours Available

The memorial sits in front of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 1468, and can be viewed up close by walking through the organization’s parking lot. The lot is generally open seven days a week. Visitors can walk through the lot to the memorial at any time during daylight business hours.

History:

Elks Lodge members Pete Urdiales Jr., Glenn Bailey, and Dane Laduke came up with the idea and brought it to the attention of Elks leadership, which approved it. It was dedicated on November 11, 2012.
