Knud L. Eriksen was born in Odense, Denmark, August, 1889. The date he came to this country is not known. He enlisted in the United States Army from Reno, Washoe County, Nevada, December 15, 1917, at Ft. McDowell, California, and was placed in 21st Balloon Company. On June 6, 1918, he was transferred to 155th Depot Brigade in which organization he was serving at the time of his death (October 15, 1918). His death was caused by influenza, which was sweeping the country at that time. He is survived by a father, Erik Eriksen, Sanderso, Skov, Odense, Denmark.
