Fredrick Bullers was born in What Cheer, Iowa, in March I894. He entered the service from Jarbidge, Nevada, September 7th, 1917. Served in Company M, 362d Infantry, 91st Division, to October 3, 1917; Headquarters Company, 362d Infantry, to November 11, 1917; Headquarters Company 164th Infantry, 41st Division, to January 12,
1918; Company I, 164th Infantry, to January 13, 1918; and in Company D, 26th Infantry, 1st Division, to the time of his death.
Went overseas with the 41st Division, on December 15th, 1917. Served with the 1st Division in front line of Toul Sector from January 18 to April 2, 1918; in front line of Montdidier Sector from April 25 to May 28, 1918; in Battle of Cantigny and counter offensives from May 28 to July 7, 1918; in Battle of Berzy-le-Sec and capture’ of that town from July18 to July 22, 1918; in front line east of St. Mihiel from August 7 to August 24,1918; in Battle of St. Mihiel September 12-13, 1918; in Meuse-Argonne Offensive, October 1st to October 3d, 1918, when he was killed in action northeast of Apremont.
